This morning we experienced a payment processing error affecting some of your donors who had already made their contributions this month. This was a logical error in the new version of the code which has now has been rectified.

All necessary refunds have been processed and a notification sent out to those impacted.

Welcome to the new 4th, 5th & 6th grade classes at Imani! Bryan has just returned from his 1st visit in 3 years. He was able to meet all of the new students and to see 1st hand the incredible progress made at the campus and to hear the success stories from our top ranked students who are now attending High School at the most prominent schools in Kenya. The Imani family want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We are also very excited to announce that Athletics Kenya has approved our 1st annual half marathon to benefit the Imani program. The marathon will take place in Embu on September 17th 2023 and we will be putting together a team of volunteers to assist with the race, visit the school and reconnect with the students. Hi Imani Family!

It’s been a while. The last couple of years have been a whirlwind. Through the pandemic, our school has remained open, our children have been safe and healthy, and we have continued to grow. This would not be possible without you. Thank you for the role you play in helping the lives of our students.

We have some fun updates for you, I hope you enjoy!

~ Our students planted kale, maize, pigweed, watermelon, green grams and spinach! The produce grown is both consumed by the kiddos, and the surplus is sold in the community to help fund future farm and garden needs.
~ We now have a freshwater dam, and our staff and students look forward to the future possibilities of produce that can be grown with the water!
~ This last year the students had a variety of academic standardized testing introduced, and our students were ranked #1 out of all the schools in the region - we are so proud of our students and grateful for our staff and faculty.

As international travel becomes possible again, we will be excited to share more frequent updates with you! A major shout out to the Kenya Imani team who have been taking care of and supporting our students for the last couple of years.

Hi friends! It’s been a while. We just wanted to hop on and say Imani and the Imani team is still here and doing well! The pandemic has paused our trips out to visit the Kenyan team, but our kiddos are doing good! Since we are a boarding school, we got to stay open almost completely the last 18 months! Thanks for your continued support, and encouragement!

Most years, we share video, pictures and great stories as our teams come back from welcoming in the new 4th grade class at Imani Christian School. This year, we are equally excited to share this simple list. Behind these names are stories of hunger, hopelessness and fear. In front of these kids is a home, education, security and hope for the future. Thank you all for you generous support and please pray with us for each one of these children. We pray that they will thrive in their new environment, grow, learn, PLAY, and know that they are valued and loved by staff and all of our U.S. family. Most of all may they feel and live in God's love for them.

A huge Thank You to the in-country team who cares for our students. Grades 4-8 are on campus and it's school as usual!!
