21st Century HealthCare Employees and Families Making Strides for Charity!

Thank you to all the 21st Century HealthCare employees and family members that recently took part in the St. Joseph the Worker Hike for Hope Charity event, an initiative aimed at raising funds and awareness to provide unhoused, low-income, and other disadvantaged individuals with a pathway to stability and self-sufficiency. The event was not only a heartwarming display of unity and support, but also a fun-filled day of outdoor adventure and gratitude!

We’d like to give a shoutout to our wizards with numbers and spreadsheets – The 21st Century Accounting Department! 🙌 From analysis and reporting and audits to collaborating with IT to fine-tune our systems, they work tirelessly behind our manufacturing scenes to ensure that our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. To our incredible number-crunchers, we salute you! You are rockstars, and we're grateful for all that you do. 👏👏

Congratulations John Platt, Director of Facility Management and Luis Martinez, Equipment Services Manager on their recognition in the 21st Century Newsletter’s Employee Highlight which features our outstanding employees for their creativity, dedication and hard work.
 
Together, John and Luis are being recognized for their pioneering efforts in launching the 3D printer to create replacement parts for our manufacturing equipment. Their efforts with the 3D printer have helped us to reduce lead times and cost and ensures the availability of crucial components. They service over 24 parts with a significant focus on the packaging lines.
 
By leveraging the 3D printer and producing materials in-house, we have estimated a savings of over $80,000 in 2023 alone. The ability to produce replacement parts quickly has also minimized equipment downtime, boosted productivity and ultimately customer satisfaction. 
 
Their success story serves as an inspiration to us all and highlights the potential of embracing emerging technologies in the manufacturing industry.
