Today, we proudly honored Jamie Paxton for July Veteran of the Month πΊπΈ Jamie humbly served in the Airforce for 25 years, earning many outstanding medals and recognitions.Jamie continues her service to other Veterans and their families through her work at Little Blessings Veteran and Community Outreach. Today we honored 2 amazing volunteers! Congratulations to Darlene and Diana! A dynamic duo! These wonderful ladies work very hard in our gardens/landscaping. Not only do they have the best "green thumbs", bringing everything to life, but Diana also takes beautiful photographs of gardens and flowers. THANK YOU BOTH FOR ALL YOU DO!

Did you know??? Our amazing garden volunteers are here 3 days a week, and sometimes sneak over on the weekends, to maintain our beautiful landscaping! Over the last couple of years, they have created mini-gardens around the property, a Monarch waystaition, added garden decorations, built a compost, and most recently, added raised garden beds with lots of tomato and pepper plants that our kitchen crew will use this summer. ππ

We are open normal business hours this week and serve as a cooling center.
We celebrated Vern and Leslie Chesney for June Volunteers spotlight! For 7 years, they both lovingly give their time to Meals on Wheels, help with the phones, and help out whenever asked and needed. Leslie also serves as a Board Trustee and Vern is the unofficial handyman. They always have a smile on their faces and Vern has a joke at hand to make anyone laugh! Thank you both for your time and dedication to our community! β€οΈβ€οΈ
Congratulations to JoAnn Ott! Our June Veteran of the Month. JoAnn served 4 years in the US Coast Guard and at the time, graduated 3rd in her class out of 200. Thank you for your service! πΊπ²πΊπΈ

We sold 545 Shortcake tickets and served 680 people! Congratulations to our raffle winners Elizabeth H., Joan T., and Harriet R !
