Please note the following change this year: In compliance with USA wrestling, any person wanting to be on the mat in a coaching capacity will need to sign up as a volunteer and pass a background screening. Background screenings are to be completed via www.usawmembership.com and The Gorge Wrestling Club will need to be added as the affiliated club. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to a board member by email or messenger.

USA wrestling cards and coaches cards are valid September 1st-August 31st. If you plan on getting your coaches card or your wrestler will be competing in tournaments, please wait until September 1st to purchase the cards.

We are blown away by the outpouring of support from our community this weekend! There hasn't been a wrestling clinic like this put on in The Dalles in over 20 years and our first one was a huge success! We had 44 wrestlers show up for the two day clinic and we were able to feed more than that.
We are so grateful for Eastern Oregon University Wrestling, Coach Dustyn Azure and Coach Hunter Sparks. Thank you gentlemen for making the long drive out here in the midst of your busy schedules to show these kids new tools for success. We received nothing but positive feedback from wrestlers and parents about you. THANK YOU!
We have several generous sponsors heading into this new wrestling season, but Rosauers Supermarkets completely sponsored this event. We were able to feed everyone involved in this event, as well as many members of the community. We want to thank all of the local community members and families that stopped by and bought food or donated to the club. It was a heartwarming sight.
We want to extend a special thank you to Lamont Crichton-Tunai for making all of our clinic t-shirts on short notice. They look perfect!
To all of the new faces that participated in the clinic, we hope to see you again during our regular season! We are already having conversations about putting on more clinics in the future. This is the start of something great!

TOMORROW!!!! If you have not already signed up and plan on registering at the door, please bring the registration fee to the first session.
Session 1 will begin at 8am for athletes age 10 and under. Session 2 will begin at 1pm for athletes age 10-18.
We have a few things to go over:
1. Plan to arrive a few minutes before your start time so we can get everyone checked in.
2. No street shoes or bare feet will be allowed on the mat, so bring wrestling shoes or socks.
3. Wear comfortable clothing (sweatpants, athletic shorts, etc.)
4. Bring a water bottle
