Our second graders are published authors! While using the Project-Based Learning approach, our second graders became the experts on the wildlife crossing and the animals this crossing is built for. They visited the construction site, heard from the expert () and now published books, fiction and nonfiction, about the animals that will be using this crossing. On Saturday, May 4, they participated in The Ventura County Reading Association’s Young Author Fair with crafts and author’s visit with the amazing ! Thank you Mrs. Nordstrom and Mrs. Brown for taking our scholars to the top and making them shine! 📚🌟🤩 🌟💙
