Were you surprised that proximity only differed by around 4 feet? To clarify, an 80s golfer is a golfer who shoots in the 80s. Not a golfer in the 1980s.

Steve picked up golf later on in life and has moved from a complete beginner to shooting 82 in his club championship. Congrats!!

Charles has been working with GOLFTEC for 2 years now and slowly moving his handicap down. He recently shot 79 for the first time!!

What's the best part of working for a golf company? Getting to play golf at work! Last week, we swapped our laptops and pens for clubs and cold drinks at our annual Family Sports Golf Scramble and Putt-Putt. It was a great day filled with fierce competition and minimal lost golf balls.

Congrats to Jackson Wetherbee, Terry Spence, Mekonnen Gizaw and Brian Larson on bringing home the gold!

It's a good week to be a GOLFTEC student — especially if your name is Greg or Debbie!

A year ago, Greg was shooting in the 100s at Chester Washington Golf Club. On Sunday, he beat his best score with an 88!

When Debbie joined GOLFTEC, her goal was to lower her handicap to 7.5 to compete in club events. This weekend, she and a friend won a team scramble with a score of 68 and 6 birdies! Debbie attributes their success to improved approach shots, a key focus area for her.

Another day, another GOLFTEC student killing it on the course!

Brick has been a dedicated GOLFTEC student since April 2024. His first round on the golf course was in May, where he shot a 105. Between his consistent practice and new equipment from a GOLFTEC club fitting, he's been able to drop his score to a 91!

Jon came to GOLFTEC in April as a mid- to high-90s golfer struggling with a big slice. He just hit a new personal best round of 83, which was 5 shots better than his previous best round of 88!

Alex started GOLFTEC's Pass Your PAT program in 2022 with his coach Troy McCollough. Since then, he's continued to work on and make huge strides in his game. Alex passed his PAT this summer and is now a PGA associate!

GOLFTEC's Pass Your PAT program has helped dozens of students pass their playing ability test, a prerequisite for PGA membership.
