Last weeks lesson was to understand the difference between assumptions and facts. Especially defining both when it comes to making choices related to different health aspects. We then went on to create native american dolls that represented us, or a toy in general. The stories of everyone's dolls was quite unique. Loved how there was sure acceptance, enjoyment, and laughter represented in our group. Y'all are AHHmazing!

Im included in a a few extra curricular activities like playing on the hs soccer team, ballroom dance team (zmotion), and xc team! I love being able to do any service and helping others! I am outgoing, enthusiastic, determined, and so excited to be a mentor for 4H this year!!

Today We had special guest speaker Michael Irving come speak to us about the importance of outdoor survival, being prepared for things one may encounter in any situation, and made survival bracelets! I think all the kids were impressed to learn basic outdoor survival skills!

8/2/19 These kids are troopers! The county fair was so much fun! We learned about different birds and reptiles, pet some cute critters, made some art, battled the heat in giant plastic bubbles, and ate yummy snow cones!

7/17/19 We had a fantastic lady from our local Tooele community sponsor our weekly event. Allstar bowling was a good time! 😂
We did not think we were too old! While our scores reflected that from endless gutterballs, we got to be awesome goofballs, and had a blast!

At our July 7th weekly meeting we finally planted our pots we painted during our learning to be mindful and goal setting week! We also did a QPR lesson prior to planting. QPR is an effective su***de prevention training. It developed a positive group discussion amongst us all. Our 4th pre-party was the best! Water balloon fight, rope wars, hula hooping, bubbles, and limbo business, not to mention a sunny great day with laughter and friends!
