Jordan is our mens suppoort staff. He highlights his own personal journey and how it has allowed him to connect with his work. Being navajo has also helped him feel more connected with his native roots and that drives his passion even more.
In honor of MMIP Awareness Month, our team and clients gathered to create a visual display of red flags, symbolizing the missing and murdered indigenous people in our lives. This display, visible from the road in front of our administrative office, is a stark reminder of the urgency to raise awareness about this crisis.

MMIR (Missing & Murdered Indigenous Relatives) event happening tomorrow in Lehi. This event is bringing awareness and taking action for the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives movement.
Pre-registration is open now until 3 PM tomorrow (5/2) via the link . Canโt pre-register? No worries! Walk-ins are welcome, just come a bit early to register in person.
May marks the beginning of a crucial awareness campaign: Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples (MMIP). This month, and every month, let's shine a light on the epidemic of violence disproportionately affecting Indigenous communities. MMIP is a heartbreaking reality, with far too many cases remaining unresolved or overlooked.

Heather Shoemaker is a case manager of the residential women's unit. NATSU Healthcare had a chance to sit down with her, and talk about her passions. Morgon is northern Ute, and is currently a case manger for NATSU Healthcare she has been in this field for a number of years. She has a passion for assisting the community with cultural based aspects such as beading, drum practice, dancing, and organizing events for our youth in our summer programs.
