Greg Kern has been traveling to sell us various brands of hosiery and headwear for all of the years I have been in the industry, which has only become significantly more rare in recent years. Robert passed the ownership torch to Joe in December of 2022 and Stella (in the window) or Anders (presenting our gift of a print to “papa”) may one day elect to work with their father () furthering the family dynamic. ‘s 16 year run of winding the counterweight of the historic have come to an end. The experts have been commissioned to mechanize, illuminate and replace the cracked faces on the clock. While the 100 year old inner workings were very interesting, the mechanization will provide much more reliable time and the aesthetic improvements (including new lighting) are further signs of improvement to the landmark.

It is a family affair here and we would like to wish the woman who opened/managed our store a very happy 11th ( ) birthday today 🥳. While she has not been in our employ for several years, she has embarked on a successful career in politics and once organized a wonderful community event illustrated in this post. Furthermore, she is one of ‘s absolute closest friends for going on 25 years 😊 .
