Our buns are very well socialized and sweet as can be!
Cookie found a loving home! A sweet girl was surprised Friday with a stop to pick up her new pet.
It was pretty cool seeing how much this new baby meant to her since she recently lost her bun, Oreo. And the name will stay the same!
Itās time for them to go! Message me if you know anyone looking for a pet or show rabbit that is well loved and socialized! Holland Lops, pedigree available.

Help me out! Whatās on your bucket list for this summer?
Iām making a list of ideas and activities for our family to do this summer. My kids just keep growing š so I want to make the most out of our time together before theyāre too cool to hang out with me!
Hereās the thing about doing it all:
even if you can do it all,
no one can do it all well.
Because I wanted to be a cool kid, too!
Em is in love! Sheās gotten so much more brave about touching and handling animals (at least bunnies) through this experience!
These bunnies will be well socialized and loved on when they go to their new homes!
We have babies!
Bella had her kits on my birthday! On April 23rd we welcomed 6 baby bunnies to our rabbitry! These are the first born at Coal Creek.
Iām hosting a Terrarium Workshop on April 27th!
Iād love for you to join me as I geek out on plants and teach how to make your very own!
Itās going ok...
Iām already planning a bigger vegetable garden this spring and Iām adding some cut flowers! I bought some heirloom seeds and they sent me a coupon to share with others.

Already planning the layout to fit more in this summer!
The beginnings of a green house.
Target practice. Because you never know when you just might have to hunt for your dinner.
Also, little sister hit more than the gun loving brother. š
We have a section of yard that doesnāt get used for playing very often so weāve decided to make it work for us instead!
Planting rows of blueberries, blackberries and grapes! Bonus, itāll make a little block from our neighbors eventually.
We only have 1.5 acres but Iāve decided we should utilize it any way we can to provide food for us. Now, I just have to be patient and wait for everything to grow.
Bun number 3.
Lilac Harlequin Doe currently unnamed until Everitt decides!
Our next giveaway announcement is here and I want to take it as an opportunity to tell you guys how much I appreciate you. Without my followers who share my posts and get my name out there, without my customers who leave me reviews and recommend me to others, and without my friends in the rabbit community that are always there to bounce ideas off of, give advice, or just be there to listen and give support when times are tough..NONE of this would be possible. This rabbitry is my hobby, its what brings me peace when life is too much, itās what teaches my kids about responsibility, having a life depend on you, healing/treating/doctoring. In donāt consider this a business. There is no profit in doing this. Everything I make goes into daily care, upgrading cages and supplies, and buying more stock. So again, thank you to all who make this possible! Thank you for following, for interacting, for sharing. Thank you for making B&Nās thrive! š¤š¤š¤
Some bunny decided they needed to eat our carrots more than we did. š° š„
This was my second time planting carrots. I planted in three separate places and one flower pot in hopes Iād finally get something to come up right!
The flower pot was a waste of effortāthey never grew big. My mounds of dirt were doing decent until an animal came along and ate the tops off. So we decide to go ahead and dig them all up in two of three locations. I washed everything and froze them in a stir fry mix since most were pretty small!
I have one more set planted in a different garden and itās so full of weeds the animal hasnāt found them yet! So see, my weeds are finally being beneficial. š
Our garden is about done.
Itās a bit over grown with crab grass and ragweed at this point š¤·š¼āāļø but we salvaged these yellow flesh melons that Emmi planted from seed. The fruit stopped growing and the vines died during the heat wave so we decided to cut them open.
They were a bit overripe and small but decent. We saved the seeds to see what we get from them next season!
And of course the scraps went to some happy chickens!
I won a raffle supporting a rabbitry that experienced a lot of loss recently!
This is Miss Opal and sheāll be joining us from Songbird Rabbitry near Dallas, Texas!
Iām excited to see the colors sheāll produce.
I added a mouser to the garage!
This little guy has extra toes and hopefully will use those to catch the mice the chicken feed attracted!
Those little faces are too cute!
Smokie and Bandit are going to get married some day!
Completed sketty sauce!
I did have three that didnāt seem to seal right so trying to figure out my next step on those!
I had an abundance of cherry and plum tomatoes! Notes for next yearādonāt plant 20 maybe just 5. š
So instead of trying to peel the skins I decided to roast them in the oven for my canned spaghetti sauce! I also roasted the garlic to give my sauce a richer flavor. I processed in my fancy $$ blender to help break down the skins and seeds.
Justin said he likes it more then Prego so Iāll take that as a win. Now if I can just truck the kids, too!
Hereās the recipe I used: https://www.favfamilyrecipes.com/canned-spaghetti-sauce/
I used the oven to seal the jars.
A friend gifted me some Egyptian Walking Onions!
Iāve never planted them but so far they are thriving and gave me some babies to harvest for the next planting!
IF you have the time/patienceā¦refrigerate or freeze your cookie dough!
Pop those portions in the fridge for an hour or so to let your dough rest and the flavors to mix. Youāll have a less crumbly cookie!
I always freeze my dough and pull out when I need it! That way we always have cookie dough ready to bake for an easy dessert. You can let it thaw or bake from frozen!
Processed some zucchini!
Chopped small for soups and omelets. Sliced for sautƩ or baked. Spirals noodle for spaghetti noodles. Thin slices for veggie lasagna. The big chunks were shredded for breads and cookies.
I planted some potatoes scraps for the first time this year!
I had three plants come up and got these cuties. The little yellow potatoes are volunteers from our compost pile.
Iām going to plant some more next month for a fall crop when I have space in the garden.
Roasted veggies from the garden!
Zucchini
Crooked Neck Squash
Tomatoes
Green and Purple Beans
Bell Peppers
Savory
Oregano
Basil
Olive oil and salt & pepper not from the garden. š
