Pepper growing has been my hobby for several years. With each passing year, the number of varieties and heat level has continued to increase. My passion is in the challenge of starting from seed, transplanting, growing, harvesting, and searching for new recipes/uses. Over the past two years, I began to share some recipes, hot sauce, and pepper flakes with friends while being told "You could sell this. I want some more. I'll buy some". So here we are.
Okete Pepper Farm started in January 2024 when the first superhot seeds were planted. With alot of prayer, preparation, participation of ideas from friends, and support from my wife Amy and boys, we are ready to launch into this journey together.
What to expect from Okete Pepper Farm:
Pepper Plants are available April-May for many common varieties while supply lasts. Some varieties of superhot pepper plants are already limited quantities.
Fresh Pepper Produce will be available approximately mid June.
Sweet Bells, Jalapeno, Serrano, Cayenne, Habaneros, Scotch Bonnet, Ghosts, Scorpions, Carolina Reaper and many more. (Full variety list upcoming)
Pepper Flakes and Powders will be available when harvesting begins.
We will offer alot of varieties and you will be able to custom order from my pepper list also. Flakes and Powders are extremely popular because you can experience a hotter level at limited exposure. Each pepper type has it's own unique flavors that are a blast to try.
Thank you all for being part of this journey and I hope that you will share this page. Invite your friends as you wish. Message me with any questions. Typically I will try to respond the same day.
I thank God for this vision and opportunity and hope to create lasting relationships with customers by providing quality products and service.
