The Tahoe Race Series Championships have been adjusted to a regular season race. Please see the FW website homepage for further details.

Palisades Tahoe is offering a $25 discounted lift ticket to Far West athletes for the dates of Sunday Feb 19th – Sunday Feb 26th to watch the races and training sessions. These tickets will only be to ski at Palisades, not to enter the bleachers to watch the races. If you are looking for a viewing ticket, please visit https://worldcup.palisadestahoe.com/tickets/.
These tickets are open to current Far West athletes only of all ages- will be required to show membership upon pick up. There are not any adult tickets available.

Due to the upcoming forecast, Sugar Bowl has moved the race schedule for January 14-16, 2023 to February 10-12, 2023. Entries will transfer over to these dates. If you would like to request a refund, please reach out to the race organizer.

The Minaret Challenge 1 GS/ 2 SL scheduled for January 5 – 7, 2023 races have been postponed due to forecast of heavy snow, high winds and avalanche forecast. Reschedule information will be available next week. All entry fees will be refunded. Let us know if you have any question. Mammoth properties have been notified of the postponement.

Far West Academic Team nominations are open!
The Far West Academic Team recognizes current Sr – U16 athletes in the Far West whose GPA for the 2022 ski season’s Spring Semester was a 3.5 or better. The athletes must be registered Sr-U16 during the 2022 spring academic period. Athletes are invited to send a legible copy of the spring report card or transcript to the FWS office by September 15, in order to be named to the Far West Academic Team. The Far West Academic Team is announced on the FWS website.
