Happy FeLV+ Friday everyone, I'm Sooty! I'm 3 years old and I'm a sweet panther gentleman!

I came to the Hermitage in August of 2024 after some very kind humans took me in from a colony and taught me how to trust them! I'm a very sweet boy, and once you come to visit I'll hop down from my perch on the catwalks to introduce myself! Sometimes I'll even meow softly so you know I'm coming. I'll trot over to you and rub up against your legs and blink up at you so you'll reach down to give me some love.

I really like it if you sit down on the floor, that way I can shove my face up against your legs and flop on top of your shoes! Then you can give me gentle belly rubs and chin scratches! All I'm looking for is a sweet human of my own, someone who will give me all the pets, pats, and snuggles I could ever want.

Medical: I am FeLV+ and FIV+, but don't worry, I'm doing great! The staff is more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the care I'll need once you take me home!

Morning everybody, my name is Cita. I’m 5.5 years old and I’m a lovely little panther!

I came to the Hermitage in October of 2022 after I was TNR’d in an outdoor colony. I was more open to humans than some of the other cats, so they took me in. I’ve had a long adjustment period, but recently I’ve started to open up more! I’m very stunning as my fur has a smokey undertone to it, you’ll definitely be able to recognize me when you see me.

Lately I've been spending a lot more time up towards the front of the shelter. I'll come down from the catwalks for lunch and watch all of our visitors closely. Sometimes if you reach out, I'll even give you a little sniff! While I’m still very much on the shy side, everyone thinks I’m ready to start meeting more humans. I’m not a cat you’ll be able to leave with the first time you meet me, you’ll have to prove I trust you, but I’m worth every little bit of effort!

Morning everyone, my name is Krissy! I'm almost 2 years old and I'm a beautiful panther lady!

I came to the Hermitage in March of 2024 as a former community cat. I'm more reserved than some of my roommates, and I prefer to stick to the cubbies and catwalks in the quieter parts of the shelter. You can frequently find me in the big cubby tower or the cubbies in Yeti's Corner. With a little patience, I'm a very sweet girl!

The best way to become my friend is to let me get a good sniff in before you pet me. Once we're friends you'll see my true personality! I love gentle pets and head rubs, and you'll see me slow blink and softly lean in to show my appreciation. All I want is a sweet and gentle family of my own. A home with lots of cozy places to nap and a quiet companion sounds good to me!
