NAWBO Ladies Who Lunch 05/03/2023

Good morning and happy Hump Day!!
I expect everyone's week is off to a good start.

I'm so glad and grateful to have our very own Dawn Armstrong (VP of Membership) as our May NAWBO Ladies Who Lunch speaker on the 15th. She'll be sharing her expertise with us on Workplace Violence Prevention.

Most workplace violence training focuses on what to do AFTER the attack begins. While it can be effective, it’s not nearly as effective as AVOIDING the violence to begin with! That’s why Dawn created ThinkSafe Seminars.

Dawn will share tips on preventing workplace violence by equipping people with specific awareness skills, de-escalation tools, and other preventive strategies.

Combining her triple threat-prevention expertise as a Situational Awareness Specialist, Conflict Management Instructor, and 4th Degree Kenpo Black Belt, Dawn’s goal is to help organizations provide safer, more productive work places that allow people to enjoy their days with more awareness and less fear.

The hard work continues and I will need your help and support all the way through this journey. I cannot yet express in words how humbling this is-to have people give of their time, energy and hard-earned dollars.

Check out our website, let me know your thoughts, and how you'd like to help. Onward!!

Good morning and happy Thankful Thursday!

Some of you know by now, but I wanted to share some very exciting and unexpected news with you all. Most of you might know that I lead with service-both in my professional and personal life. My first and best example of that is and has been my precious mama, Fran.

Well, yesterday the Tucson Association of Realtors held their Annual Awards Ceremony. This is the largest trade association in Southern Arizona with over 6200 members and the ceremony is a highlight for its members.

And to my very pleasant and humbling surprise I learned that I won "2021 Realtor of the Year" AND "2021 Committee of the Year-Housing Opportunities" as Chair. I must say that the feelings are many and even over-whelming. For your colleagues to notice, highlight and honor your work in such a public way is an incredible blessing and involves the contributions of more than just you. I am so glad and grateful to be among an esteemed and distinguished group. I take the responsibility of representing this organization, its members and all of you to heart. I often say that is my pleasure and privilege. I will continue to make you proud and look forward to what is to come.

Thank you for joining me in this journey. I'm just getting started.

Sending you all much Love, Light, Ease and Grace always and in all ways.

I'm Sorry, But Tucson Is The Best City In Arizona And I Have Proof 12/07/2021

Happy Tuesday!! I read this article and couldn't agree more. Now, in case you don't know, I am an Arizona native (we do exist). I'm originally from Douglas and I believe our state is one of the most beautiful places in the world. I'm a traveler and have visited nearly 20 countries on four continents and half the U.S. I love calling Tucson home and have done so intentionally, purposefully. I am so glad and grateful to raise my sons in the Old Pueblo and really enjoyed reading about what the author discovered. She missed some gems, but that's o.k. You can't it all in at once. :-)
