Documentary Spotlight: ASK THE SAND directed by Vittorio Bongiorno, is the journey of a father and a son as they travel to the utopian city of Arcosanti, the city of the future that was built in 1970 in the desert by the Italian architect Paolo Soleri (1919- 2013), a student of Frank Lloyd Wright. Accompanied by the soundtrack of Tucson luminaries Calexico, Naim Amor & John Convertino and Joachim Cooder.
