Tragedy often strikes in the cruelest of manners...

On the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 17th, every parent's nightmare struck the Wright family of Bixby. Kinsey Wright, a sophomore at BHS and a member of the school's soccer team, was on her way to practice for her WSA team when she was involved in a fatal auto accident. The Bixby and local soccer communities were rocked by this loss, including three members of the Soccer USA extended family, one of whom taught across the hall from the mother, another who was a sophomore at BHS who personally knew Kinsey and a third who had coached Kinsey in goalkeeping.

Kinsey was a bright soul with an infectious smile and a loving personality, and her loss will be felt by many for a lifetime. We cannot fathom what her family is going through, and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Ironically enough though, after our last post, we will be CLOSED this SUNDAY, Oct. 1st. We will reopen at 10am on Monday, Oct. 2nd.
