I never wanted to be a salon owner. It was never my “dream”. But naturally, I collect people.

That’s kiiiiiiinda what has brought me the most success as a hairstylist & now similarly as a salon owner as well.

One year ago today, I quadrupled the space we had been existing in and even then I was contemplating if it was “the right move for me” deep down.

But when I take a look around and I consider what Alter has already done for so many stylists, salon owners who have visited and more importantly the clients that visit each day, I have never been more certain this was THE move for me.

I’ve made countless mistakes along the way, but one thing I am most proud of the relationships that I’ve built as a leader. I am truly so blessed. The meaning of life is found in meaningful relationships.

TAKE THE RISK— running this business has been full of risks, I wouldn’t have achieved half of my goals had I not taken risks. ⠀⁣

Remember the roads that lead you here— along the way guard your heart, your mind and your dreams.

Deny any opportunity to compare yourself to others and always move and act with PURPOSE. ⠀⁣

As I look back on these past 5 years, I feel blessed, not because things are perfect, but because I have found perfect grace in the journey. I have so many goals for this next year behind the chair, for my salon and as an educator with IBE®. I can’t wait to achieve them with all of you by my side 💫⠀⁣

So I know what you’re thinking. Extensions mean more work every morning, but that’s false. I spend wayyyy less time on my hair every single week because of these glorious extensions!💁🏼‍♀️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

With extensions you only want to be washing your hair 1-3 times a week, so you'll save time in the shower, time on heat styling and will wake up way closer to being “out-the-door-ready”. 💃🏼⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
