Return Alert! Poor Giggles was returned recently after being adopted and she is ready to find her furever home again! Giggles came to ARF from a local shelter originally. Giggles is pretty laid back and a fairly quiet little gal. She loves to lay on fuzzy blankets with or without her human friends. She is crate trained and is doing well with potty training. Giggles loves to be outside and lay in the sun. Giggles is just an absolute sweetheart. Giggles would do best with older children, as young ones make her a little nervous. Abington is a three year old, female Shih Tzu that was rescued from a breeding situation that was not good. She is sweet girl that loves a good cuddle! She loves to be held and babied! Tutti Frutti is a female Schnauzer mix puppy with the best scruffy coat! She was surrendered to ARF when the owner was overwhelmed with the litter and needed help. Tutti Frutti weighs around 8 pounds and should be somewhere between 20 and 30 pounds when she is an adult. She gets along well with other dogs and loves to explore her foster home. I was running stray and never claimed at the shelter, can you believe it? I am the best boy! I am a four year old Rat Terrier mix with really handsome markings. I weigh about 24 pounds and am a healthy guy. I get along well with others, and after getting fully vetted, I am hanging in a foster home to assess me and be able to tell adopters everything about me. Mary Rose, is worth a second look as one of our absolutely sweetest, most curious loves. This 10month old was born bitten with the explorer bug, checking out her environment very carefully and chirping as she traverses from one end of the room to the other, she may have a future in security! She readily accepts pets from her people and becomes a little purr machine, when a wand toy is brought out she practically dances, displaying her flexibility in flips and twists.

Mary Rose has a delicate immune system and needs to be in a non smoking home that does not use artificial air fresheners/scents. This little gal would prefer to have at least 1 friendly feline companion in her home. She doesn't mind gentle cat friendly kids but really doesn't want to deal with dogs.

Pixie and Thunder were surrendered to ARF when a fellow rescuer came down very ill and had to get rid of her animals. (heartbreaking, we know!) They are extremely bonded and need to be adopted together. Pixie and Thunder are working on walking on a leash and potty training. They are love bugs and love to cuddle! They are moderately overweight but their fosters have done a wonderful job on keeping them on a strict diet and they are looking so good! They get along well with other dogs and would be a wonderful addition to an already established home or a home for just the two of them! Charlie is a spirited and affectionate adult Domestic Shorthair with striking gray and white fur. This handsome fellow thrives on attention and loves being the center of playtime. Whether it’s chasing a string feather or playing fetch, Charlie’s enthusiasm is boundless. He’ll even bring the feather back to you and challenge you to free it from his grasp. Charlie enjoys being brushed and petted, though he has his limits and prefers being approached from behind.

Despite his love for play and human interaction, Charlie has some quirks that need special handling. He dislikes being left alone and can become agitated if not given enough attention. When excited, he can nip if hands are placed in front of his face, so it’s best to use toys to redirect his energy. Charlie needs an experienced and patient owner who can read his signals and help him decompress when needed.

Charlie’s ideal home is one without children, as he can be reactive if overstimulated. He doesn’t get along with other male cats due to his territorial nature but seems okay with females, though he can be jealous of other cats receiving affection. Once he feels secure, Charlie is incredibly loving, especially with male humans. At this stage in her life, Isabelle knows what she likes and enjoys the simple pleasures of life. Isabelle is a wonderful cat who loves playtime, brushing, and affection. Isabelle is one of the easiest-going cats her foster parents have ever had. She’s drama-free, enjoys life, and simply seeks affection, love, and playtime. Welcome to our tiny Olympians, Tori, Aleia & Noah. (pictured are just two!) Our Intake Coordinator went to a rural Oklahoma Shelter to pick up one dog and came back with one dog and 3 Border Collie mix puppies. How could anyone resist these sweet puppies? The shelter is no place for a young puppy. The puppies have the softest fur and unique markings. They are doing great in their foster home, playing and frolicking, enjoying life out of the shelter. The pups will be medium size when full grown and would love a family and a backyard to play in. They are currently eight weeks old, thriving in their foster home and are so smart! Willa comes to ARF from a local shelter after she had a broken pelvis and they needed a permanent, safe loving home for her medical needs. She is a four year old, female Shi Tzu that currently weighs about twelve pounds. Willa is currently on urinary food because of a urinary issue, but we don’t know if it will be permanent or not. Willa is a fun girl with a personality that works well in a variety of homes. She walks a little funny, but that doesn’t stop her! Willa is doing very well in her foster home and enjoying the company of the other dogs and her foster mom! Willa’s adoption fee is $250 and that includes her spay, vaccinations and microchip.
