Cousins are are first friends!!!! Mud pies, jumping off the "big" porch of Nanny and Granddad's home. Swimming in the beautiful rivers of Arkansas, laughing at Granddad fussing at Nanny, giggling at night and getting yelled at, "don't make me come in there." Oh yes, learning to peel peaches, and snapping peas with Nanny and our mothers all on that big porch of Nanny and Granddad's. Wow, the memories are flooding me, at our grandparents home Grandday would put a stack of albums on the stereo of gospel music and this is how the whole house went to sleep in their home every night. We grandkids sleep on a pallet next to the stereo. This is where our love of Jesus and gospel music started in each of our lives and has carried through 60++ years later.
Beverly, sing your heart out with the very One we heard about on those records. You lived your faith!!!!!!
