The Longview Mall its hosting it’s annual Boo ‘n Brew on October 26. We would like to invite your Non-Profit to participate as a vendor. This is a free event for your non-profit organization. All we ask is that your organization provide a game or a craft for kids to do while they are at the event. The Mall will have a DJ, s’mores for everyone to make, a pumpkin patch, as well as inflatable games and hay rides. Please let us know if you are interested. We will also provide tables, chairs and a pop-up tent (the first 10 to sign up) for each vendor.

We still have a few booth spots left at our Trunk or Treat tomorrow for our dementia friends and volunteers.

It’s so dry, don’t burn!!

The Tyler Fire Marshal Office would like to remind everyone that the Smith County Commissioners Court issued a burn ban on Oct. 8 for the next 90 days. Regardless, the City of Tyler always has a burn ban, with a few exceptions. Some examples of those exceptions include burning on two-plus acres and burning with a permit from the Tyler Fire Marshal Office. With a county-wide burn ban in place, all outdoor burning is NOT ALLOWED at this time.
