Yesterday, we had the privilege of ordaining Rick Witmer as Senior Pastor/Elder of Sylvania Church. We're so thankful to God for calling Rick, his wife Jennifer and their children to be a part of the Sylvania family. We invite and encourage you to pray for/with us as God continues to write Sylvania Church's story.

Wednesday evenings are in full swing! Come eat a meal with us starting at 5pm and then join us for Awana, Oasis (youth), and adult studies starting at 6pm. This semester we are offering 3 adult classes and we would love to have you participate.

Kristen Brody is leading a women's study through the book, "Humble Roots: How Humility Grounds and Nourishes Your Soul" by Hannah Anderson.

Mark Ledyard is leading a men's study, "Catalyst- Men's Discipleship".

Shane McGuire is leading an adult class on our Church Constitution. Each week, there will be a different teacher that takes on one of our Confessions of Faith. This week will be Shane McGuire tackling "Of the Scriptures".

We play Monday nights 730 or 830. Jerseys are optional you can purchase them from Tyler Athletics for $35. They take approx. 2 weeks once ordered. We need to know asap if you’re interested in playing. **We had such a great response for summer ball that we’re pushing for 2 teams for the fall but we’re a little short so we need a few more folks.
