URGENT UPDATE:

Attention AT&T customers! Reports suggest that the phone company is currently facing a widespread outage. Are you seeing an SOS signal on your phone screen? I am an AT&T user and unable to make calls on my iPhone.

Update as of 5:30 am CST: I managed to send texts via iMessage to a few colleagues; one on AT&T and the other on Verizon. Still no official word from AT&T on the cause of the issue.

Update as of 7:45 am CST: AT&T has released a statement acknowledging the wireless service interruptions. They are working diligently to restore service and recommend using Wi-Fi calling in the meantime.

• Please note that the PATH ACT will be lifted tonight, and the first update will occur on Saturday. However, it is important to understand that not everyone’s update will happen on the same day.
• It is perfectly normal if your return does not update with a date on Saturday. The updates occur gradually, and it is impossible for every individual in America to update simultaneously.
• There is no need to contact your tax preparer to inquire about why the IRS has not updated your return. They may not have the specific information regarding your case. However, if it has been 21 days since you filed (March 7th), you may consider reaching out to the IRS for further assistance.
• Kindly refrain from repeatedly logging into the IRS website multiple times a day. The IRS updates their systems once a day, usually before 9am.
