Christian Heritage School - Tyler
Christian Heritage School is a private K-12 school providing an affordable, Christ-centered education in Tyler, TX.
Our mission is to train Christian children and their parents to understand Biblical principles of personal and civil liberty. We wish to see America turn back to God’s purposes of “making disciples of all nations.” Training master teachers who lead their students in relating scriptural principles to all subjects of study is fundamental to this mission.

“The early Christians succeeded because they did not lower their heads in despair and say, ‘Look what the world has come to.’Instead, they lifted their eyes in delight and said, ‘Look Who has come to the world.’”
( E. Stanley Jones)
“God’s first institution for society is the home. The home forms the character … it is the educational center of our nation.”

"Almighty God, who has given us this good heritage, we humbly beseech Thee that we may always prove ourselves people mindful of Thy favor and glad to do Thy will. Bless our land with honorable industry, sound learning and pure manners. Save us from violence, discord, and confusion; from pride and arrogance, and from every evil way. Defend our liberties and fashion into one united people the multitudes brought out of many kindreds and tongues. Endow with the spirit of wisdom those who in Thy name we entrust the authority of government, that there may be peace and justice at home, and that through obedience to thy Law, we may show forth Thy praise among the nations of the earth. In the time of prosperity, fill our hearts with thankfulness, and in the day of trouble, suffer not our trust in Thee to fail. Amen"
Prayer by George Washington for our Nation
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Matthew 19:14
The teachers and administrative staff of CHS are some of the most passionate and dedicated educators on the planet. They do not receive a salary from the school in their missionary service; they trust God to enable them to participate in this educational ministry. We know that this posture of faith has a beautiful influence on our children and in the curriculum that inspires faith.
As the CHS staff are connecting with their ministry partners, would you pray with me that God would provide in such a way that each one is fully funded for this next school year?

We remember with deepest gratitude those who gave their lives at Normandy for the cause of liberty.
“Greater love has no one than to lay his life down for his friend.” (John 15:13)
Today we pause to remember those who paid the highest price to guard and protect liberty.

“I have gained much knowledge throughout my time at CHS but most importantly, I learned to be intentional with my relationships whether it be with Jesus, my family, or friends.
…I would like to thank the Lord for guiding my steps so carefully and placing me in the hands of people who genuinely care for me and have my best interest at heart. Nothing I have completed would have been possible without His love and faithfulness.”
(an excerpt from her senior speech.)

“ The emphasis on loving others, and making all feel welcome here, no matter what age, has left a lasting impression on me. This sense of community and camaraderie fostered within the campus, as a united body of Christ, has provided me with support and has encouraged me to love the Lord and strive for excellence in all areas of my life, wherever I may go.”
(an excerpt from his graduation speech)

“Upon reflection, what stands out to me the most is the level of intimacy and intentionality present in the relationships between students and faculty. It is a reflection of the message of Jesus Christ concerning the love of God and love for one’s neighbor.”
(an excerpt from Neriah’s graduation speech)

Savana Greb (valedictorian of the class of ‘24)
“ …One of the things I’ve learned both in the classroom and out from my years at CHS is that by looking back in history, we can gain hope for the future because we can see how God is working. As I move on through my next steps in life, I will be able to abide in the truth that God knows what is best for me, and His ways are higher than mine because my history shows that God is faithful and good.”(an excerpt from Savana’s graduation speech.)

“ I would like to thank God, for teaching me the true meaning of hope, and the light it brings, and for teaching me how weird, perfect, marvelous, just, merciful, and beautiful He is… It is often only when we look back that we see how coordinated and perfect (God’s will) actually was… I know there is a God who sees me and that simple fact is enough for me.” (excerpts from his graduation speech)

Rachel Amaya came to CHS in her 6th grade year. Throughout her senior year, she loved working with children as she volunteered with Promise Academy’s after school care program. This summer Rachel will be working with Mentoring Alliance’s summer camp before she begins her studies this fall at the University of Texas at Tyler . Ms. Amaya has aspirations to attend dental school and become an orthodontist.
Please know of this summer youth opportunity from our friends at Love Mercy International.
In Reagan's 1981 inaugural address he told the story of Pvt. Martin Treptow.
Martin Treptow, a soldier in the US Army, died in battle during World War I. After his body was recovered, his diary was found in his shirt pocket with a letter that read:
"America must win this war. Therefore, I will work, I will save, I will sacrifice, I will endure, I will fight cheerfully and do my utmost, as if the issue of the whole struggle depended on me alone."
How would I pray if the [resolution of the] whole struggle depended on me alone?
