With the awesome turnout from our sixth annual Labor Day Duck Derby 50/50, ASC donated our half ($1,400) to several local animal rescue groups! Our highest donation ever!

Animal Friends of Lansdowne is a non-profit devoted to such issues as animal rescue & adoption, population control, health & sanitation, education & awareness & the humane treatment of all animals.

Helping Paws Upper Darby is a group dedicated to helping communities & individuals by humanely trapping, transporting cats/kittens to clinics to get spayed/neutered, provide medical treatment & care where needed, & return them to their environment where there will be cared for or we foster friendly cats to get them rehomed through adoption.

DELCO DAWGS's mission is to rescue abused, neglected, injured, ill, retired breeder dogs & homeless animals, (primarily dogs), who otherwise would be euthanized. The dogs are placed in loving foster homes to recuperate, & once well meet their forever families.

We also donated 41 lost & found beach towels to Providence Animal Center.

Pictured are the Golden Girls, Blanche, Rose & Dorothy! These three ladies were trapped as part of a TNR project after their owner became ill, lost her home & they ended up outside with a Lansdowne colony. The sisters were social and clearly not meant for outdoor life, so they were brought into foster together. They were previously spayed, had their shots updated &they tested negative. After all they’ve been through losing their owner & their home, it would be a dream if these playful besties could stay together and become someone’s instant feline family, but other scenarios are possible. Put on your best caftan, grab some cheesecake & meet the Golden Girls.

Our Duck Derby winners, #138, the McCormicks!

What a beautiful, sunny day it was to celebrate Labor Day! DjKevin Henley kept the party going during one of our busiest day of the summer! We sold a record number of 700 ducks (100 more than last year) for Duck Derby for a total of $2,800 & donated half to local animal rescue groups!

We also recognized member Denise Salvatore with the inaugural Heart of Aronimink award 💚! The honor is presented to a member who goes above & beyond & is a positive giving person who makes Aronimink a better place.

Thank you to our great members, our amazing lifeguards, the unstoppable General Manager Jaime, assistant managers Amy & Tony & the front desk & snack bar staffs for making the day such a success!

What a beautiful summer day for the debut ASC poolside Timeless Tunes Trio concert featuring our very own Jack Colden & his bandmates Bob & Kathie Cellucci!

Everyone loved hearing the classic hits by artists such as Elvis, Bill Haley & the Comets, the Beatles as well as many soft rock selections! Wonderful job!

Congrats to all our 1,000 Lap Club finishers including Kathy & Kate, who are proudly showing off their new team swag, socks🧦! Kate, a first-time 1,000 Lap Cluber, was inspired by her friend Kathy to complete the challenge this summer.

Nearly 60 swimmers have completed the challenge, that’s a lot of warm feet 🦶🏻🦶🏻this winter ❄️!
