It's officially football season, and do you know what that means?? It's time for tailgating and cheering for your favorite teams with friends and family!

Tomorrow, our team will be tailgating at the Iowa vs. Iowa State game in Lot D3. Not only will we have a tailgate this weekend, but we'll be at every Iowa State home game this year. If you're up in Ames, look out for our LEE Chamberlin tent and don't hesitate to come join us!

It's National Engineers Week! Founded by the NSPE in 1951, this is a week dedicated to raising awareness and understanding of the engineering and technology industries. At LEE Chamberlin, this means increasing understanding of what civil engineering is and what our engineers do every day.

The dictionary definition of a civil engineer is "an engineer who designs and maintains roads, bridges, dams, and similar structures."

A simple roadway project can go a long way to serve a community for the better.

In 2019, LEE Chamberlin partnered with the City of Grimes to work on a roadway project that would not only improve roadway quality but also provide much needed access to new development in the Grimes area. SW 19th Street was just a simple gravel road, but over the course of 7 months, it was turned into a full depth HMA roadway with proper water and wastewater management.
