On Friday, November 17 at 8:30 a.m., Chairman Bill Slaughter and the Lowndes County Board of Commissioners will proclaim Shop Local Lowndes County Small Business Week, November 18 through the 25, encouraging all residents to shop local and support our friends and neighbors this upcoming holiday season.

The proclamation will be presented on the lawn of the Historic Lowndes County Courthouse, and all local Lowndes County Small Businesses and residents are encouraged to attend.
