USS Mazapeta

We have run completely out of kennel space and are in huge need of adopters for adult dogs. We are waiving all adoption fees for dogs 6 months and up for the whole month of October! If you can let your friends and family know, it would be a huge help to these animals. We can’t believe how many adorable, fantastic dogs are just waiting to bring someone happiness!

Going to be taking the Clifford A Barns (ex USCGC Bitt) out for Fleet Week October 12th. Please send a message if interested.

Mazapeta update:
Well, for reasons unknown, the ambitious new owner of Mazapeta gave her away today to a new person, after running her aground and throwing an anchor over and jumping ship. Was a short love affair. Not sure why as the boat was perfectly operational.

We saw Mazapeta this weekend in the Delta. Run aground tied to 2 pilings. Hope the copper miners dont get to her.

Mazapeta has been saved (again)! This time by Kody. Here she is underway and delta bound.

Search continues for missing Fair Oaks man, 77, in waters of Mare Island Strait

For those of you who knew Phil or met him on Mazapeta:
Hopes are dwindling. Phil (aka oldtimer) was a good friend of ours. He has helped us for years on our boat untill he recently got his very own which Jason helped him with regularly. He was both a sweetheart and a cantankerous old man.

America's Cup Racing just around the corner!!! World Series (no, not baseball!) on the the AC45 cats this month! Aug 21-26. Going out the 25th and maybe 26th if we get enough interested people.

The uss hornet us hosting a tribute to jimmy doolittle and honoring the 70th anniversary of the Doolittle raid. Come visit the hornet then come to the tug for bbq dinner at 5. There will be a B-25 fly over!
