Sometimes I think I don’t share enough about myself on this page, but my clients know for sure that I am not afraid to share things about my life with them when they come in! I have a real desire to forge friendships with each person that sits in my chair. We spend a fair amount of time together here. Some people see me more often than their own friends or relatives. I don’t want you to come in and ever feel uncomfortable! I want to have a safe space, free of judgement and open for listening each and every time you sit down. Anytime you share things with me, just know that I don’t take those things lightly. I will keep your secrets, give you advice if it’s what you’re seeking, have belly laughs with you and care about your families. I do this not only because I love what this career path entails, but also because I have a family that means more to me than anything. I want to create a comfortable atmosphere, while also educating you and doing my best to suit all of your beauty needs. I may be your hairdresser or barber, but always know that I appreciate the time it takes to become your friend.

Are you frustrated with dry, frizzy, unmanageable curls?! 🤯 This sweet client had an extreme lack of moisture, coupled with hard water/mineral build up. So much so, that even with the right products her hair was unable to absorb them properly, resulting in endlessly crunchy feeling hair.

•I performed a Malibu Crystal Gel treatment followed by a Malibu CPR treatment. This provided the perfect base for completing subsequent services by drawing out damaging build up from hard water minerals and medication. This also works to break down oxidized color (up to 3 levels) without causing any damage.

•After the prep process, I gave her a good haircut to rid her of dead ends and provide her with a better shape overall. Her ultimate goal is to get away from coloring all together, however it is VERY important to have a healthy base, and clean canvas before moving forward. She has committed to several appointments to achieve her goal and to ensure the integrity of her hair as we go through the process.

For now we are VERY happy with how the overall health of her hair has been restored, resulting in these beautifully moisturized curls!! ➰➿😍🥳 I’m very excited to share this transformation as we go along!

4 whole years since I decided to take the plunge into being my own boss. I remember this day like it was yesterday! Moving into that first suite was such a game changer for my kids and I.

I’m so grateful for each day I get to pursue my passion while meeting so many wonderful people along the way. Here’s to the next however many years I could hope to be as lucky. 💝

When you just HAVE to share that good hair day! 🤩✨ Want to know how I did it?

I used only styling and protective products to achieve this look.

1. Shampoo and Condition with #4 and #5

2. Towel dry and apply #6, #7, and #9 throughout hair mid shaft to ends, distributing evenly.

3. I then air dried my naturally wavy hair, and used a 1 inch wand over top (once it was dry) to accentuate my natural texture and add volume.

4. SHAKE it, DONT rake it!! When separating curls, tip your head to either side and use your fingers to lightly shake apart the curls rather than comb through them with your fingers. This will ensure the most defined result without creating frizz!
