We are here to support the VDA, City of Vancouver, and Main Street neighborhood as the Main Street project commences.

This is a play that searches your past, makes you aware of your present and inspires your future. Let these stories usher in a season where we celebrate one with another. Metropolitan Performing Arts and I invite you to share this special performance with us. Plus I am privileged to act in this production with an amazing ensemble.

Donations from this event will directly support the people in our community. For example, the socks collected might go into kits that Share's Outreach team hands out while meeting with people who are experiencing homelessness.

Hey hair stylist. I just ran into the city person and engineer that's in charge of outdoor spaces for restaurants during the limited 25% occupancy. I posed a question what about hair stylist and being able to do hair outside the salon on the sidewalk. They said please apply at the Vancouver City Hall and as long as you have 6 ft available for pedestrians to pass you can even have an umbrella as long as it's over 7 ft above the sidewalk and you can possibly use the power from your salon with extension cords as long as they're heavy-duty. They will look into it. And they seem to be completely amenable to it. If you are interested please call the city and apply and create a schematic. This is not necessarily a perfect solution but they are open to allowing hairdressers to work outside just like restaurants and other types of businesses. Let me know what you think. I'm going to apply myself. I'm not sure what the application process looks like but if we all want to try this it is an option.
