Khao P**n with som pak galum napa! Lao Curry Noodle soup with pickled Napa cabbage! This was so good the bowl was wiped clean of any content. That jammy egg was everything too!

Our last Special Menu of this farmer’s market season is: Lao Beef Sandwich!
Not your ordinary beef sandwich this is our own WeLa Lao flavor bomb concoction! The whole she-bang! The details that goes into it is wild 😱😋
Palm Sugar glazed baguette with garlic aioli, stuffed grilled Lao Beef steak with green & sweet onions, lettuce, tomatoes, pickled vegetables, cilantro, fried shallots drizzled with our Lao Chili Vinaigrette (Jeow Som)!
Whoa let’s talk about Palm Sugar Glaze baguette betcha never had or heard of that before!!! Also, we want to boast this is our in house made baguettes too! This is an early teaser of what will be featuring in our pop-ups! 😜

We know this news may cause some of our regulars who can’t live without their WeLa Lao fix to panic, but don’t worry we have some exciting pop-ups coming up! We’ll make a separate announcement about that soon…so come hungry and come through to our last weekend of this Farmers market season!

Our Crowdfunding Campaign has officially ended. Since our campaign fell short of reaching the funding target all investments will be returned to investors. While we had hoped for a different outcome, we are still very grateful for the experience. We want to take this time to thank the team at HoneyComb Credit for everything and the opportunity! Thank you to our loyal supporters whether you invested or shared our campaign, that still meant a lot. Doing a crowdfunding campaign for WeLa Lao meant learning that it is okay to be vulnerable putting our struggles out there, including obstacles faced as a minority woman owned small business. We are still in need of funds in order to continue so we’ll be looking into other ways to raise it such as a GoFund Me. We’ll keep you posted! Again our deepest gratitude for the support.
