Shorty's BBQ

Tomorrow we head up the road to the Dick Hannah car dealership for an employee BBQ. And to honor one of the technicians there recognizing 20 yrs. They opted out of the coleslaw for Mac & cheese. Well here it is homade Mac & Cheese

Run 21 motorcycle rally was a success. Had so much fun. What's next? Got a call from Dick Hannah, "Dick says yes" car dealership in Hazel Dell. Can I cater for 100 people on the last Friday of this month? YOU BET. So they requested macaroni and cheese. I just finished my first "from scratch" recipe, and I think it's going to be a success. Shorty's BBQ is getting more and more notoriety. And we will continue to get out name out there through great food and decent prices.

Just bought the beautiful refrigerator to replace the old one. The trailer looks professional now. More room to store the goods.

Just added Southern fried and Teriyaki chicken wings. With ranch or BBQ sauce. Very yummy

Summer is here and although it's not an A/C unit, it will still help me and staff cool at all the events. They feel look good and feel good.

Shorty's BBQ participated in the "June's Sassy Sunflower Bazaar in Longview saturday. It is our first for the year. It was very rewarding to spend time with friends and family as well as metting new people too. I want to thank Matt Creek and my grandson Parker Hardister for all the hard work they did at this event. Matt did whatever to make sure we had supplies and everything that I might of forgot by running to store when needed. Parker was amazing at the register, greeting people and taking orders for me and Matt. We all had so much fun, that we are sticking together for further events.

Well it looks like Shortys BBQ will be making and serving up fresh Carnitas and carnita tacos soon. We finally broke the copper cazo and did up some delicious carnitas, with some awsome chili salsa and couldn't stop eating until the gut was maxed out!!! Can't wait to put them on the menu.

Was never a fan of anything green, let alone collard greens. But I got this recipe that is simply the best. Smoked ham hocks seasoning, onion garlic. Then let them simmer for 2 hours. Will be adding them to the menu this year

Excited for next years event season. Was gifted a copper cazo from my stepfather, got the burner and stand from Amazon yesterday, so it's time to make Carintas for tacos, burritos and tortas.

Mexican apple filled Empanadas. Fresh, hot and DELICIOUS!!!!! Just like the baker😂😆😁 'stheflavoryousavormyneighbor 'sthetasteyoudontwasteshovinginurface. Next ones will be Pumkin, cherry and peach.

Well. Not the way I wanted Shorty's to end the season, but There's always next year. Thank you everyone for your support.
