Rene Cailliet, M.D., Director of the Department of physical
Medicine and Rehabilitation, University of Southern California, wrote the following in his book ‘’Rejuvenation Strategy’’:

1) Incorrect head position, leads to improper spinal function.

2) The head in forward posture can add up to thirty (30) pounds of abnormal leverage on the cervical spine.

3) Forward head posture results in loss of vital capacity. Lung capacity is depleted by as much as 30%. Loss of lung capacity leads to heart and blood vascular problems.

4) The entire gastrointestinal system is affected, particularly the large intestine. Loss of good bowel peristaltic function and evacuation is a common sequela to forward head posture and loss of spinal lordotic curves.

5) Forward head posture causes an increase in discomfort and pain. Freedom of motion in the first four (4) cervical vertebrae are a major source of stimuli that causes production of endorphins in the spinal cord. With inadequate endorphin production many otherwise non-painful sensations are experienced as pain.

6) Forward head posture causes loss of healthy spine-body motion. The entire body becomes rigid as the range of motion becomes hunched.

7) The better the posture, the better and younger one looks and feels.

Just so happens that we are giving golf balls and ball markers out today and this guy had shot a “Hole in One” on Monday right after his adjustment!!!! Great Job!!!!

Dr. Rice is a back Jedi master. I’ve had lower back issues for going on 15 years and was biased about going to a chiropractor, but I did some research, read his reviews, checked out the facility, and decided to give it a go. Dr. Rice and his staff have exceeded every expectation. He takes the time to thoroughly explain and validate all of his treatments so you understand the problem that must be addressed. He also tackles it from all sides, providing a comprehensive treatment plan that improves all aspects of life. I’m in the middle of a 4 month program and I never thought I’d feel this way again. My life has completely changed. I’m back to playing competing sports and working out, virtually pain free. The effect this has had on my mental health is indescribable.

It’s worth noting that I’m a medical sales rep and have been working with surgeons and physical therapists for 17 years. I’ve received treatment from many of those contacts - many of which I consider close friends - and none of them have provided the attention to detail and quality of care Dr. Rice has.

I’d encourage anyone who’s having back or neck issues - or more importantly, wants to prevent them - to book just 1 appointment with Dr. Rice. It will change your life and you won’t regret it.
