The back-of-house functional spaces are not always the sexiest designs, but the transformations and usefulness when they are designed and constructed correctly have a huge impact on the end users. Meet Elaine, one of our secret weapons on our Project Engineering team. Her ability to focus allows her to ensure her teams stay organized and on schedule while her cheerful demeanor means everyone enjoys the time they get to spend with her.

You've already met Stacey, our rockstar Estimating Coordinator, but did you know she is also a powerhouse Board Member of the Ventura County Contractor's Association? As the Scholarship Chair, she ensures members are provided with the education, construction resources, and professional services they need to be successful in the construction industry, no matter their economic status.

We are sending a huge "Thank You!" to Lake, our summer Project Engineering Intern. Not only is he smart, driven, and organized, he is also enthusiastic and just plain fun to be around. We had an amazing time working alongside him as he learned the ropes of what it means to be a Project Engineer and we can't wait to see him again as his education progresses.

In celebration of the Olympics taking place this month, we are showcasing a few of our photo contest winners currently working on sports and athletics projects. Curtis is one of Staples' new additions and we are thrilled to have him as a part of our team as a Project Engineer. As a pancake lover and secret acoustic guitar player, he fits right in with the rest of us and we can't wait to learn more about him.
