Project Understanding - Ventura California
Understanding Needs, Restoring Hope
Meet Liz Rigali she is our VOLUNTEER OF THE QUARTER.
Liz would bring a hungry neighbor through our pantry and decided that this was where she wanted to volunteer. She has been with us for a little over a year and has made such a positive impact in the pantry.
In Liz’s words
“To be a volunteer at Project Understandings pantry means a lot to me. Serving the pantry and the community can’t get any better than this!! I never want to see someone go hungry or thirsty and I want to give 100% to the Pantry and take pride in my contribution every day I volunteer. Volunteering is a win-win to the Pantry and to the community.”
Be sure to say hello to Liz and thank her. If you ever see her in the community, she’s made a difference with Project Understanding and we’re grateful to have her.
