As most of you know, Anacapa Brewing Company closed in November of 2022 and was purchased by new owners to open . BellRinger Brew Co is building on the legacy of the oldest brewery in Ventura while bringing a renewed energy to the landmark brew pub space. Offering award winning beer, locally sourced American comfort food, and a welcoming environment for the community, BellRinger Brew Co is eager to make its mark in such a historic part of Downtown Ventura. We can’t wait to see you there!

It comes with a heavy heart to say that Anacapa Brewing Company will be closing our doors at the end of the month. Sunday October 30th will be our last full day of operation.

Since the start of the pandemic Anacapa has faced many obstacles. Staffing, food costs, the economy, a lease increase and unsustainable sales. With our lease ending last month we have made the decision to not renew our lease or to continue our operation. We have had such an incredible 20+ years in downtown Ventura, but it’s time to start a new chapter.

We will definitely have an afternoon happy hour or two to give us a way to personally say our good byes and thanks to the many faces that have supported us on this journey.

Thank you so much Ventura. We couldn’t have made it this long without you. We look forward to seeing your faces all around town.

National Chicken and Waffles Day calls for the best crispy, fluffy combo in town. Grandma Margaret's recipe combines Buttermilk chicken breast, floured and fried to a crisp and served with thick waffles and drizzled with our homemade vanilla cinnamon syrup.

Don't let the name "Five Grains" scare you away. This bowl is packed with flavor, color and full deliciousness. From red bell pepper to brown rice, onion, cabbage and avocado, we toss it all in the most luscious and mouthwatering cucumber wasabi ranch dressing.
