When people asked me how I could just walk away from those who betrayed my trust, I explained that I had to choose who I wanted to have in my life and how I wanted to live.
I decided I didn’t want to have people who expected me to prove my love for them but didn’t support me when needed. I made a promise to myself to not tolerate disrespect.
