Please plan to join us for our monthly meeting on Wednesday, August 28th at 7pm at VFW 392 located at 2408 Bowland Parkway in Virginia Beach. Our agenda will include guest speaker, Bill Brody, Commander of the Landstown HS NJROTC program. We will also discuss planning for upcoming participation in POW/MIA memorial ceremony, NAS Oceana Airshow and Veterans Day parade.

Please be aware of the Aging Veterans Transportation Program which provides free round trip transportation to the Hampton Roads VA Medical Center for veterans over 60 years old who have an inability to access any other form of available transportation. You can call the Peninsula Agency on Aging for more details at 757.873.0541.

The Post is looking for volunteers to serve a 4 hour shift on either Saturday, September 21 or Sunday, September 22 at the NAS Oceana Airshow featuring the Blue Angels. We will be manning a table and encouraging veterans to join the post. Please contact me if you are interested in volunteering!

We currently have attained 193 renewals toward our 2025 membership goal of 317 (61%) and sit 1st of 13 posts in the 2nd District membership competition!
