🏊‍♀️Meet Rae, a rising swimmer who found her home with the Camden Kroc and Blue Wave Aquatics . During the Summer months, Rae enjoyed developing her strokes through Philadelphia’s Parks and Rec Programs but once school began, there wasn’t an opportunity to continue learning. “Being members at the Kroc for the Water Park, the Aquatics Manager suggested that she join the Kroc's Shark level for lessons” says Mother Carrie. “Once her sessions were over, he strongly encouraged Rae to explore competitive swimming."

Thanks to a partnership through Blue Wave Aquatics, where they call the Kroc center their home, Rae adapted quickly to the fast-paced world of competitive swimming through their Kroc Bridge Program. Her coach, Barb Carroll, says that “she is such a great listener and a coach’s dream making progress so quickly. Now that she had that base swim training, I have her swimming intervals to prepare for joining the swim team."

Rae’s Mother Carrie and her family are on the sidelines of every practice to cheer her on. "This program really is a God send. Since starting middle school, I wanted her to have an activity where it felt she belonged. The Bridge program is a really gentle way to encourage young swimmers to engage at that advanced level."

We are so proud of Rae and the incredible strides she continues to take through swimming. As she continues to make waves in competitive swimming along with her Blue Wave family, we celebrate the dedication, passion, and sense of belonging she has found with us. 🌊

Radin Aghdasi (10) is off to a great start at the BWA hosted 2023 MA 10 & Under Championships held at the beautiful Kroc Center March 11-12. He finished 1st in the 50 Breaststroke and 500 free events, he dropped over 42 seconds in the 500 free and set 3 new Team Records. Swim fast to all BWA swimmers!

Blue Wave swimmers are killing it at our January Developmental Meet!!! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

Blue Wave Aquatics recently sent 7 swimmers to Indianapolis for the 2022 NCSA OLY Invite held from Dec 1st-4th! Excellent performances across the board with 75% best time swims, 16 individual records, 4 relay records, 12 Finals appearances (4 A Final), and two NEW NCSA Junior National Qualifiers. Congrats to our swimmers!
