Kelvin will be followed by an Evening of Love Songs featuring Johnny Fortuno with special guest: Casey Fortuno. Johnny Fortuno, a Hawaii and Las Vegas Legend star, will bring to life the songs of Englebert Humperdinck, Tom Jones, Elvis Presley, and more, while Casey Fortuno, an extraordinary talent in her own right, will take you on a journey of popular tunes by female artists!

We have one live music event this week with two new bands that will make their debut on our stage. Chain Reaction with opening performance by 2112 will be here on Friday, October 4th! Doors open at 5:30PM. 2112 is a tribute band for Canadian rock band, Rush. Chain Reaction will play your favorite soft rock music from Queen, Toto, Bon Jovi, Journey and more! It will be a great night and we can hear you all saying, "oh, I remember that song... "

In addition, we have private banquets this weekend and we're taking our AMAZING staff out to thank them for their hard work! We are so blessed to have them as part of our COEC/MSG ohana!

With all the excitement of having the Katinas performing in our venue, we have one more exciting announcement to share... local band TRADEWINDS will open for THE KATINAS!

TRADEWINDS: Gensen Rabacal (ukulele, lead vocalist and band leader), Mike Englar (keyboard and vocalist) and Aidan Higa (cajon).

Here's the backstory - We met Gensen Rabacal in December, 2022 at an event in our ballroom. When asked to perform a song by the event organizer, without missing a beat, Gensen was ready with his ukulele and WOW'd everyone! From that moment, we knew how special Gensen was and a few months later, we invited Gensen, along with the other members of TRADEWINDS to perform at Mango Street Grill. A year later after their first performance, TRADEWINDS has become part of our Mango Street Grill ohana and we are ecstatic to invite this very talented group to open this very special evening with THE KATINAS!

We opened our doors on October 30, 2021 with the amazing and very talented Ledward Kaapana and Jesse Gregorio, Sr. With just a little over two years since that first night, we have been blessed to have many talented musicians grace our stage to perform for our island community. And, each night, as these musicians perform, we stand in the back of the room in awe of the excitement and energy that LIVE music brings to our venue and those in attendance. We are grateful for the opportunity to own and operate this special venue in the middle of Wahiawa called Mango Street Grill and Central Oahu Event Center.
