After months of grieving his death Tyrell's Uncle Siah (Founder & C.E.O) who is in the Navy started helping people in the community in honor of his Nephew. Eventually he came up with the idea to come up with a Non-Profit Organization in honor of Tyrell. About 2 1/2 years of studying Non-Profits he

Thank you to everyone who came out & donated to our Tyrell’s Angels Trunk or Treat!

It was a great success and the kids all loved it!

We also had families fill out our Christmas wish lists! We have close to 200 children so let us know if you’d like to help out with that!

Mahalo & Happy Halloween!

This month we are dedicating our birthday month to Ranston Masami Kea who would’ve been 20 years old this month.

Your mother, Bobbie-Lynn, sponsored all the gifts and pizza for this months birthday month in your honor.

Just like Tyrell, we want to leave a loving mark in this world to honor your memory.

Happy birthday August babies. ❤️

Another successful event filled with love & joy.

Huge shoutout to .lk for buying gifts for all 12 gifts for June birthday babies.

We didn’t receive any other donations so the pizza, drinks, cake & activities were sponsored by our family.

We love these kids and will always do anything we can to make these small events special for them.

Thank you all for continuing to support. We love you all!

“This is so much fun!”

“This is the best day ever!”

“You’re the best uncle ever!”

-some of my favorite quotes from todays event.

We kicked off this summer with lots of fun. We ate tacos, made slime, & s’mores!

The kids had a blast & they were so grateful for a fun event!

Thanks You Krypton Afakasi & Tanya Metzker for donating and making this whole thing possible. Shoutout to our cake boss Tammy Blair for always making delicious cakes for our birthday kids.

We had two birthday girls show up and they were so thankful for their gifts and the fun activities with their friends.

Thank you all for your continued support! Stay tuned for more fun this summer!

Starting the summer off right!

Help us get our house-less kids off to a great start this summer. We need donations to make slime and s’mores! Also monetary donations are welcome to help us purchase pizza and drinks.

It is also birthday month and we have 2 teens and 6 toddlers who would love some birthday gifts!

Please let us know if you can contribute in anyway or would like to volunteer!

April birthday month was a success!

The struggle with working with children in the shelter is that our events are always hit or miss. Last month we had over 40 kids show up. Today we had a little over 20.

Nevertheless, we always prepare for at least 60 kids for our events and whatever we have leftover goes back to the kids as extra gifts.

Today we planted herbs in a starter pot in honor of earth day and all the kids got up to 4 pots each for themselves (due to extra supplies). I let them know we’ll give them a prize next month if they keep their plants alive.

We also bought pizza and my son baked four cakes for the birthday kids who unfortunately did not show up.

We do recycle our gifts for next months kids. Unfortunately, due to past issues, we no longer leave the gifts at the shelter. Birthday kids need to be present in order to receive them.

Thank you aunty Twinkles and Lorelei Saito for the monetary donations so we could purchase the food and supplies. Thank you Jace Kaopua & family for buying this months gifts. Without you all we would not be able to create these memories.

The children left happy & inspired to plant more seeds for the world to see. With your support, we have planted a seed to inspire them to make the world a better place.

Aloha!

In need of sponsors to purchase birthday gifts for 4 of our kids at the shelter. Please message us for more details.

The staff there were kind enough to get us a wish list for the kids so we have a better idea on what they want. Budget is $25 per kid.

Also need sponsors for food & prizes.

We will have games and activities in honor of Earth day. 🌎❤️

Mahalo!

Happy birthday February babies. We got six pizzas (sponsored by Mana Xtreme Cheer moms), six personalized cakes (by our amazing Tammy Blair), and 6 individual gifts (gifted by the Fonoti Aiga).

Thank you all so much for the love and support. The kids definitely felt all the love. Stay tuned for next month event where we will be adding an Easter egg event to our birthday month.

Happy heavenly birthday to our Angel, Tyrell. He would’ve been 14 years old today.

Thank you all for continuing to keep Tyrell’s name & spirit alive. He may not be here physically but we take comfort in knowing that he’s helped hundreds of kids here on earth.

We miss & love you, Tyrell! 😇❤️

If you would like to sponsor a child for their birthday this month please DM for more info. We max our gift price at $20 so each kid gets an equal amount. Please let us know if you’d like to help.

We will be posting these flyers at the shelter so the kids know to be there when we arrive. If the kids do not show up, we save the gifts for next months kids. We’ve had issues with leaving gifts and the kids not receiving it so we will only give the gifts if the child is present.

Mahalo. 🤙🏽

After a year break, WE ARE BACK!

We are continuing on with our Birthday Pa’ina at the Kapolei shelter.

This month we bought pizza, cake (made by our Tammy Blair), and a gift for 6 of our January Keiki at the shelter.

Stay tuned for next months event and for more fun this year!

Thank you all for always sticking with us! We’re so excited to be back. We love you all!

Dr. Kelly from Aloha Affordable Veterinary Services and her amazing assistant Emma Knight did it all this year. Got gifts for all the kids and bought pizza along with Lena Siuta.

Dr. Kelly has been doing this with us for years now and she definitely saved Christmas in 2021!

As joyous as it was to do this, I’m humbled to say, this will be our last event.

This year has been rough for me and I’m taking a break from service. Taking the year off to recharge and revamp Tyrell’s Angels.

That doesn’t mean I still won’t be active in the community. My house alone is registered as a foster home and I’m currently parenting a phenomenal teen.

But being on a path to service can take a huge toll on a person and after 10 plus years of doing this I’m finally gonna take the time off for myself.

I’m so thankful that Tyrell has blessed me with all of you in my life. I am forever in your debts. I love you all more than you’ll ever know. Thank you for supporting me for so long and I hope to come back stronger and better than ever.

Merry Christmas & Happy a New Year from & I love you all!

Message me the date and time your Ohana would like to do an intimate activity at the Kapolei shelter for the kids. Weekdays and weekends work fine. Any time on weekends and preferably evenings on weekdays. Happy Holidays!

Due to covid restrictions we couldn’t host our annual Trunk or Treat for the kids at the shelter this year. So my siblings and I just chipped in together to make personalized goodie bags for all 123 kids. We enjoyed doing this as a family and especially having our kids join the fun. Be safe everyone and Happy Halloween! 🎃

Fa’amālosi Mentorship Program Update:

In the month of August, I ( ), caught covid and had to quarantine for a few weeks so I wasn’t able to check on the teens as often.

They started to fall backwards and became inconsistent at attending the gym. I don’t blame them because I haven’t been with them long enough to instill commitment and discipline. But I am still holding them accountable.

Right now they are grounded from their privileges of going to the gym until further notice. They will have to conduct community service at their shelter to earn back their privileges.

I’m posting this to remain transparent with all my supporters. This program is far from perfect and has a lot of flaws. But I still stand by these kids and believe they have so much potential. It’ll just take a little more work to bring it out.

Thank you all for continuing to support! Love you all!

Fa’amālosi Mentorship Program Update:

Thank you to our young leaders coach, coach .alewis for going above and beyond and giving the teens a bbq at the beach before school starts.

Coach Jason is their trainer at the best gym. -

It takes a village to raise a child. Thank you for always being a great role model for them.

07/28/2021

Fa’amālosi Update:

Our young leaders are doing great and enjoying the best gym! -

But I need more hands on deck to get the full effect of this program.

In search of motivated mentors who can give 3-4hours a week to help guide these young leaders in the right direction. Mentors will also be required to fill out reports on time spent and update myself ( ) weekly.

Our goal is to dig deep in 4 main pillars. Sense of self, academic responsibility, professional/career development & cultural connection.

This requires a lot of dedication and commitment. Serious inquiries only please. These teens have trust issues due to the programs that come and go. They need more stable relationships. You don’t have to be perfect. But I need people who are real, show unconditional love to strangers & willing to give their free time to those in need. So if this is something you can agree to please email us your resume @ [email protected]

Fa’amālosi Update

Photos from Tyrell's Angels's post 07/21/2021

Birthday Event was a great success!

Thank you Tammy for the amazing cake as always! 🎂 Sending so much love to all the people who bought gifts for our summer babies! Especially Cassie Davis who helped organize them all. Thank you to my lovely volunteers for helping today. We also had the teens from our program come out and help before they headed to the gym.

The teens are loving the program so far and parents and teens are very thankful for the support!

Thank you all so much! I couldn’t have done it without you all! ❤️

Photos from Tyrell's Angels's post 07/18/2021

Our new recruits were so excited to start the program that they’ve been asking when we will meet up again. So we surprised them with a last minute movie night!

So far we have 9 new teens and 5 of our original teens in our fa’amālosi program. Thank you to everyone for your continued support!

Shoutout to for taking 2 of our teens shopping this week. They had fun and got lots of fashion tips!
