Although there will be a record-breaking number of people at the starting line this year, we will be without one special runner; Ralph Capps, President & CEO of the Wake County Boys & Girls Clubs, who passed away peacefully earlier this week.
Ralph spent 50+ years of his career leading, guiding, and mentoring young people, staff, and board members at the Boys & Girls Clubs serving Wake County. He grew the membership from a few hundred boys at one club to thousands of boys and girls at eight clubs. He was a role model of consistency coupled with an infectious can-do attitude. He had zero tolerance for anything less than his or your best and he inspired everyone to exceed the expected in favor of the possible.
This year, we’ll be thinking of Ralph and honoring his legacy as we race and raise money for the club members at the Wake Forest Boys & Girls Club 💙🧡

Q: Where should you park on race day and when you pick up your race packets? 🚗
A: Parking is available at adjacent Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary parking lots and the Wake Forest Elementary School. Street parking is also available nearby. We recommend that you plan ahead and leave early enough to park close by!
