Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) is hosting a Community Day event from 3 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, at St. Charles High School in Waldorf. The event is being coordinated by CCPS pupil personnel workers (PPW) and will feature clothing giveaways, family support services, housing and utility financial support services, immunization clinics, employment opportunities and more.

Students who are in need of the Tdap or MCV4 vaccine (both of which are required for students entering Grade 7 this fall) can receive them for free at the event from the Health Department. St. Charles is located at 5305 Piney Church Road in Waldorf.
