Charles Page, a man from Pineville, Louisiana, was supposedly another aviation pioneer who flew his first airplane around and patented his model simultaneously with the Wright brothers. Accordingly, the idea came from watching Dragonfly.

However, losing the flying machine might have prevented him from achieving a remarkable historical moment.

At any rate, it is amazing how our smartest designers and engineers simulate or mimic what is happening in nature.

Wait a moment, did we miss another moment, an aviation pioneer who flew his first airplane around and patented his model simultaneously as the Wright brothers?

Parents and teachers don't discourage your children or students when you see them mimicking or simulating nature.

Parents and teachers, Oscar winner Spike Lee has a message for our students and children: "Let's not lie to our kids." There is nothing like an "overnight success," and hard work is the key to success. He is correct!

Encourage your kids to seek help and remind them to work hard. This may require creating time for learning new skills, avoiding negative relationships, staying focused on tasks, asking for help, and consistently staying motivated to produce quality results. Encourage them to follow Spike Lee's example and use their physical, emotional, and mental abilities to be purposeful in action and go beyond their comfort zones to achieve success.

A survey of students in grades 10-12 by ACT revealed that nearly half of students in grades 10-12 said they use artificial intelligence tools for school and non-school activities. I am not surprised. However, I expect a higher number. I am also surprised by another interesting revelation. According to the survey, students with higher ACT composite scores were likelier to use AI tools than those with lower scores. This raises the question of equity. According to ACT, schools need to consider equitable access as AI technology evolves.

How are high schoolers using AI? Students say their most common uses for schoolwork are for language arts and social studies assignments, an ACT survey reports.
