Effective as of July 27, 2023, KimCares Wellness Services, LLC will accept any new clients with the following insurances ONLY: Blue Cross and Blue Shield/any of the Carefirst plans, United Healthcare, John’s Hopkins, Aetna, Cigna, Self Pay, and is in with Headway and Amwell as a provider, as well as working with EAP companies. If the insurance company is not listed, then unfortunately I am not in network with them. This applies to only potential new clients.
In addition, there is an opening for 1 new client at this time.
Finally, KimCares Wellness Services, LLC will be closed for business on Tuesday, August 1, 2023-Wednesday, August 2, 2023.

Prince George's County OHS Community Basic CPR First Aid Certification Taking this First Aid class today can help to save someone's life tomorrow.

Announcement: Kimberly Ward, LCSW-C, LICSW, LCSW, RPT has been approved from KimCares Wellness Services, LLC to provide supervision to those who have LGPC. Effective January 12, 2023, supervision is also an option to LGPCs as well.

Update: KimCares Wellness Services, LLC is in the process of being credentialed through Headway. The beginning of going live will start in December 2022. A new and exciting update to report!

Good morning, depression is real. It's nothing wrong with seeking help to address this. Unfortunately, there are individuals who are not open to seeking help because of the stigma that seeking mental health treatment is BAD. Also, there are those who think they can do it alone, but it's best to seek the help from a licensed mental health professional therapist. It's not bad to seek help and you are not alone. Doing this can make a difference and save your life. You and your life matters! Check on your friends, family, and loved ones! Allow yourself to be open to seeking help. Have a blessed day!
