I have been speaking with many of you individually about the possible adverse effects of edibles. This is a simple message but one that needs to get out. Since edibles metabolize differently than smoked cannabis, edibles create the opportunity for adverse side effects. These side effects can include dizziness, nausea, fast heartbeat, and tremors to name a few. Please be careful dosing with edibles. I suggest micro dosing from reputable manufacturers until you find the proper dose for your desired effect.
There is good news. Although we don't currently know exactly how edibles metabolize differently than smoked products (other than the liver vs lung thing) as our laws become less restrictive our research becomes more thorough. The answers are out there, the important thing is we, as consumers stay safe while they, as scientists get the answers.
