Hey parents! Wondering what "homework" you can do with your child at home? These activities are great for KK (Y5) through 2nd grade, but these are also great ideas to do with your 3-5th grader, too (but with spelling and syllabication). Print them out, keep them in a car and away you go!!! Another great place is to post them on your interior garage door. Before going into the house, point to a word and have them read it to you before they go inside.

Please practice reading these words at home with your child. They should be able to read them in a "snap". When kids are able to identify sight words they are able to read with better fluency since they don't have to stop and figure these common words out.

The lost and found is overflowing! Remind your child to claim their missing items during lunch. Remember to label all of your child’s winter items.
