For those of you that have heard we had a small fire in our plaza last night. We were very fortunate that we have no damage aside from a smoking smell. I must thank the Wallingford Fire Dept for doing such a great job taking care of the fire. I wish our neighbors a quick recovery and are able to reopen very soon. A very scary situation and thankful no one was hurt!!! 💙

How can your ponytail cause breakage? *Putting your hair up when it is wet.. When your hair is wet it is stretchy. When it dries it shrinks and becomes not stretchy so if your hair it “stretched”into a ponytail it will break when it shrinks. *Making the ponytail too tight.. When your ponytail is too tight you are putting it through too much consistent tension. Kind of like if you pull a piece of thread tight all day it will eventually just break. *Using the wrong kind of hair tie .. You have seen those loose hairs stuck in your hair tie, you know the ones that get caught in between the stretchy parts of those elastic hair ties. Those loose hairs have actually broken off. Next time you go for the pony tail, opt for a scrunchie or a invisibobble hair tie. We sell the invisibobbles in the salon. Stop by and pick some up. Swipe to see mine.
