We had a great day of collecting PJ’s with our helper Luca! We have an update on which pj’s sizes and styles are most needed! We are extremely close to our goal! Thank you for your continued support!

What is needed:
Men’s - 11 larges, 6 XL, 3 XXL, 3 large night shirts, 3 XXL night shirts, & 1 # # night shirt

Women’s: 6 small, 1 medium, 3 large, 2 XL, 3 # # , 12 Large night gowns, 2 XL gowns, 1 XXL gown, 1 # # Gown & 1 4XL gown.

We will be collecting until 12/16 and distributing the following week!

It is that time of year again! We are officially starting to collect Pajamas for our THIRD ANNUAL Peggy's Pajama Project!

Because of your kindness & generosity, Peggy's Pajama Project has donated over 500 pairs of Pajamas to the elderly living in nursing homes across Connecticut!

We will be accepting donations now through December 16th, 2023.

Ways to donate:
1) Purchase new pajamas and drop them off at our salon anytime!
2) Order pajamas online and ship them directly to the salon
3) Venmo a monetary donation to for Colby & Elisa to purchase pj's on your behalf!

Just a little FYI on our first day of summer… please wash your hair after going in chlorinated water before coming in for any color service, especially highlights! It can make or break your color…. Literally!

🛑WATCH THIS! If you like to go in pools or hot tubs it's important to prevent chlorine buildup by prepping the hair and doing the right after treatments, especially if you're blonde! . CHLORINE WILL CAUSE DRYNESS, DULLNESS, DISCOLORATION, BREAKAGE, WEIGH HAIR DOWN AND COULD OXIDIZE COLOR AND BLEACH DURING A HAIR APPOINTMENT AND CAUSE MAJOR DAMAGE OR AN UNDESIRABLE COLOR. . Here's my advice: 📢 ✨️You can avoid getting hair wet altogether or Before going in chlorine rinse hair in the shower and coat your hair with a leave in conditioner. This will prevent chlorine from being able to absorb into your hair. ✨️After you get out clarify shampoo, use a Malibu swimmers packet and deep condition. . Paige graduated from The European Academy of Cosmetology & Hairdressing in 2015 and has experience behind the chair in salons as well as working on Hallmark & Lifetime movie sets! She has spent several years teaching cosmetology at TIGI Hairdressing Academy and is skilled at haircutting, coloring, styling and event hair & Make up!

Our food pantry is in need of canned goods- feel free drop any donations you may have to the salon and I can donate them!

We are looking for some love 💕 from our community this week- late winter is typically a low time of the year for donations and as you can see from the photo we are out of “Meals in a Can”- hearty soups, chili, stew…we sure could use some donations to fill up this shelf- with over 400 appointments already scheduled for this week and cold weather still in our forecast our shoppers would welcome a varied selection.
