What a great day with the Ansonia Public Library teens! They made tge absolutely most adorable little fairy houses. I get to do this!! I am the luckiest person alive! 🍄

Wow!! That’s all there is to say! The ladies at the Middletown senior center just blew me away! Look at their Cardinal relief paintings!!! Increadible! I am so lucky that I get to do this! Thank you to everyone who attended! 💗💗💗💗

I wish the photos were better. This group!! This group was just so amazing! Their rainbow fish 🐠 🐟 🎣 were just outstanding! I am so lucky I get to teach regularly at my hometown Wallingford Public Library. These talented participants’ creations are just outstanding. Every single one was different and gorgeous. Sometimes when I do a workshop I feel like I learn more than I teach. Woooohooooo!

Sometimes a librarian will ask me for a program that I’ve never done before. On Saturday morning we made Garden Gnomes for the first time. I was super nervous because there are a lot of parts to a gnome and I’ve never taught it before but Thomaston Public Library CT your patrons are just the most welcoming creative enthusiastic humans I’ve ever met! Thank you for the opportunity to do what I love! Each one was more adorable and creative than the next!

What a fun kids class Ansonia Public Library!

I am absolutely humbled. The Southern Connecticut Polymer Clay Guild has granted me a huge gift of supplies and tools for Polymer clay because I am one member who actively brings my knowledge, passion and love for polymer clay into the community. This gift is overwhelming in its generosity. Many pounds of clay, 7 pasta Machines and tools are just a few of the items in the gift set.

Although there were no caviats or expectations from SCPCG to accept thai gift, I feel it is my obligation to pay it forward. If you know of a non profit group that will benefit from a free or discounted workshop please have them contact me. Often when I contact a library to set up a class they say “we wish we could book you but we just don’t have the budget for it” I want to respond to that with “now you do, thanks to the SCPCG!”

I am so blessed that I get to do what I love and i’m recognized by my community.

My student artists are AMAZING!! I teach after school art at the local elementary schools and my vision for these pet portraits was a poor indication of how well these would turn out. I’m out of my mind thrilled by these. This isn’t my idea this is from an art teacher I follow on TikTok (I can’t recall her name) but wow!! Nailed it!!

My after school group is just so creative. We made mosaics. Nice right?? Are any of your kids in my classes? Ask them to share their art with you.

I have the absolutely best life. Thank you to Thomaston Public Library CT for absolute privilege to allow me to teach their patrons my mini succulent garden workshop. Every single person there made me feel like a bestie. I’m so grateful to you all for your participation!

This little ornament is my favorite one yet!! Alecia Dee a repeat customer asked me if I would make an ornament for her friend who’s a little goth, a little metal and is obsessed with Halloween and witches, her favorite colors are black gray and sage green. She also likes fashion.

This little diva is sporting her very own “Christmas Loubouton” spike heeled boots a tulip skirt and the skull of the little shelf elf who she devoured last year like the black widow Bi**ch she is.

This is a woman I follow on Facebook. Her art is amazing. She makes cookies. But my point is, look where she started. Anyone can get better with patience and practice. Keep it up. You are a rockstar.

There are still fresh trees out there! I’m here to help you decorate them

It’s not too late!! We still have an EXCELLENT assortment of trees for you! Please pass the word, as I’ve gotten a few messages saying other places are out. We also have a lovely assortment of poinsettias and of course our sweet snacks of donuts, bread, pies and cookies 🍪

This little lady was an adorable commission for a neighbor’s friend. She was just so fun to create. I love working with color and the cat was my favorite part of sculpting this one. She’s someone I would definitely be friends with.

I struggled a little with this gnome couple a little. They are a sweet couple who love the outdoors, like to eat tacos together, save animals and she obviously loves mushrooms.

This was a really special gnome for me to make. My fellow artist friend Little Feet’s Opus asked me to make her one. She is an artist I respect and admire greatly so when creating a gnome for her, her only request was “have fun.”

Not gonna lie I was a little intimidated. Jean is an artist who’s work moves me because she believes everyone no matter color, size, status should be included. In my mind she is a goddess.

For a long time I have thought Christmas colors should be blue as Mary who did all the hard work (getting pregnant while at a virgin and giving birth in a manger) was usually represented in blue. So channeling that blue energy I created the goddess gnome for Jean because Jean embodies the same strength of character and beauty!
If you don’t know my friend Jean from feet’s opus I STRONGLY recommend you do so.

I still have a bit of time left before the holidays and a few gnomes left on my order list but I can still get about 5 more done before Christmas. Let me know if you want one! The price is very reasonable just the cost of materials

This was a new one for me. La Befana the Italian Christmas witch. I prefer to think of her as a Christmas Nona she just went home to her very excited new home thanks to Gina M Corea-Cross for giving me this super fun opportunity to stretch my creative muscles. In my wildest imagination I couldn’t fathom how amazing these would turn out. This was a mixed class of teens and adult and it was AMAZING! I cannot even say how amazing these people were. I mean just look at what they made! I’m just awestruck at how gorgeous these came out! An extremely full class!
