We are so proud of our 'graduates' from the WCT. Today we are sharing the work and success of Hannah Stein and Rhys Washington. They are co-producing a show at 54 Below Broadway - a premier place for musical theatre cabaret in NYC. Rhys graduated with a degree in screenwriting and has written and produced several shows in NYC. Hannah graduated from Dean College with a degree in Arts Management with a minor in theatre and dance. She is now Associate Company Manager at Goodspeed Opera House in Haddam. Hannah grew up in the WCT (our Gracie Shinn in The Music Man (2010) and Rhys was a fabulous intern with us while he was at Ithaca. Super talented and gracious people.

The rain didn't keep anyone away at the Little Zion Preschool Spring Festival - especially Elsa, Anna, Belle, and Scarecrow. We had a wonderful time at this beautiful facility.

We've been busy these past few months - early rehearsals for SCHOOL OF ROCK, The Musical - opening this summer - and supporting local community events with some of our favorite characters.

THE WALLINGFORD HISTORICAL SOCIETY PRESENTS:

Michael A. Angelicola, a Professional Stone Mason and Stone Carver, and Author of
"Preserving Our Stone Treasures" will be giving a talk on the subject of dry laid stone walls,
the use of feathers and wedges, working with stone and the process of historic preservation.

One more night for auditions for SCHOOL OF ROCK. Tonight 6:30 - 9:00. Park and Rec. We had a great turn out of young people so far, but need more adults.

There are fun and funny character parts for adults in this show for the faculty of Horace Green Academy and for the parents of the children.

Adults! If you always thought about trying community theatre this is a fun and easy way to step in. You get to act with friends, no singing alone (unless you want to lol). And you get to be a character similar to Matilda and Hogwarts adult roles. Super fun!

We are also thrilled to announce that the Pat Russo Music will be partnering with us with this production! Pat and Amity will be helping us provide a live pit band for the show, as well as provide support for the young actors who need to play live rock music on stage during the production!

Auditions are open to all ages and there are parts for all ages.

This is a really fun show developed from the movie, but with added music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Kids and teens are featured, as well as adult parents and faculty members.

The WCT is an inclusive theatre and anyone wanting to be in the production is welcome and accepted. Auditions provide us with the opportunity to find the best spot for each actor to shine. No one is cut from our auditions.

So come to auditions - a first-come-first served audition. Forms and sides will be available shortly for your preparation.

Performances are August 1, 2, and 3, 2024 - evening performances.
Rehearsals for leads begin on two Sunday afternoons a month beginning in late March. The entire cast begins rehearsals in late May and are evening rehearsals. All rehearsals are at the Wallingford Park and Recreation.

What a fun and fabulous day for everyone at the Linear Trail Holiday Festival this year. A great crowd of folks, hot cocoa, cookies, music - and lots of fun. We were thrilled to be a part of it.
